Ugo Galli is an internationally recognised civil engineer and dispute resolution specialist with over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and engineering projects across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, North America and Asia. He combines strong technical expertise with advanced legal qualifications to provide integrated solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Ugo is a FIDIC Certified Trainer, FIDIC Certified Adjudicator, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and CEDR-accredited mediator, with extensive experience in dispute avoidance and resolution. He is widely engaged on high-value international projects as a DAAB/DAB member, chairperson, or contract advisor. His core expertise includes FIDIC-based contract management and administration, claims management, construction law, and dispute resolution. He has advised employers, engineers, contractors, and international financing institutions (including World Bank and AfDB-funded projects), and has worked on complex PPP and large-scale infrastructure developments.
As a trainer, Ugo delivers both in-person and online training on FIDIC contracts and international construction practices, drawing on decades of hands-on leadership experience as a project manager, technical director, and senior contracts advisor. He is known for his practical, case-based approach and for translating complex contractual concepts into actionable knowledge for professionals at all levels.
