Cyrus Titus Aomu is a construction law and dispute resolution specialist with over 21 years of experience spanning infrastructure delivery, contract management, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Cyrus’ work bridges engineering and law, enabling him to support clients across the full lifecycle of complex projects—from procurement and execution to dispute avoidance and resolution.

As Chief Executive of CAT & ASHE Ltd, Cyrus leads advisory services in dispute resolution, claims management, and FIDIC-based contract advisory. Cyrus has served as a Dispute Board member, adjudicator, tribunal member, and party representative on major infrastructure projects across Uganda, handling disputes in sectors such as water, transport, energy, and public procurement.

Cyrus’ experience includes over 70 dispute resolution assignments, preparation and defence of complex construction claims, and advisory roles on multimillion-dollar, donor-funded projects financed by organisations such as the World Bank, AfDB, and KfW.

Earlier in his career, Cyrus held senior engineering and project management roles with the National Water and Sewerage Corporation, where he contributed to the successful delivery of large-scale water supply and sanitation infrastructure projects and gained deep practical insight into contract administration and project execution.

Cyrus holds an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, an MBA, and a BSc in Civil Engineering.
